Witchcoil is a single-player game by Haosheng Li / Bubu Studio in Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains how the game and this support page handle information. Contact: mike007jd@gmail.com.
No Bubu Studio account is required. Progress, coins, unlocked characters, scores, achievements, story progress, settings and a local record of purchased entitlements are stored on your device. We do not operate a game-save server. Leaderboard scores and analytics events described below are separate from your local save.
Uninstalling the game or clearing its app data removes local progress, subject to your operating system's backup and restore settings. We cannot recover a local save for you. Removing local data does not delete store transactions, leaderboard records or information already held by service providers.
The iOS and Android versions use Google AdMob for interstitial ads between runs and optional rewarded ads. Rewarded ads offer a revival, additional coins or a reroll and begin when you choose the offered reward. Ads may be requested and preloaded before you choose to watch. There are no banner ads. Desktop versions do not use these mobile advertising SDKs.
Google's advertising services may process IP addresses and approximate location, device and advertising identifiers where available, app and device information, ad interactions, crash reports, performance information and diagnostics. These are used for ad delivery, personalization where permitted, measurement, security and fraud prevention. Google may share data with its service providers and advertising partners. We receive advertising reports from AdMob.
The game uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request applicable consent information and display privacy messages. The available choices depend on your region and Google's configuration. When required, Settings > Privacy options lets you review or change those choices. Rejecting personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent all advertising or all data processing: limited or non-personalized ads can still require data for delivery, measurement and fraud prevention.
On iOS, an App Tracking Transparency permission request may be presented through UMP. Access to Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) requires your permission. You can review tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Android provides advertising ID controls in device settings. Refusing tracking permission does not prevent you from playing.
Google's Privacy Policy and information about apps using Google services explain its processing and privacy controls.
Mobile versions use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand game usage and improve the game. Events include run starts and results, game mode and chapter, selected character, run duration, kills and loops, daily challenge results and streaks, ads watched or shown, and purchased product identifiers. Firebase also records automatic app events, session information and purchase information where supported.
Analytics may process app-instance and device identifiers where permitted, device and app information, usage events and approximate location. We use Firebase reports for game usage and purchase statistics. Firebase's advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization consent settings remain denied, and automatic mapping of advertising consent choices to Firebase is disabled. AdMob's separate advertising processing is described above. We do not send your name, email address, local save file or Game Center / Play Games profile to Firebase as custom analytics parameters.
New installations default to analytics collection disabled and consent signals denied. After the UMP privacy flow, the game enables collection and updates analytics storage settings, which Firebase can retain between launches. When UMP reports that its consent flow is not required, the game enables analytics storage; this status is not a separate permission you have granted for analytics. In other cases, analytics storage remains denied; Firebase may still send measurement signals without a persistent analytics identifier. The game does not currently offer a separate analytics switch.
See Google Analytics data collection and Firebase privacy and security.
Where available, the game connects to Apple Game Center on iOS or Google Play Games on Android. The platform may sign you in using its existing account settings. When signed in, the game submits your best daily challenge score and endless survival time to the platform's leaderboards. Your platform nickname, profile image and score may be visible to other players under the platform's settings.
These services handle account identifiers and gameplay information under their own policies. You can manage your profile and sharing choices through Game Center or Play Games settings. Witchcoil does not provide its own social account or upload your full local progress to a leaderboard server operated by Bubu Studio.
See Game Center & Privacy and Google Play Games profile controls.
Where available, the game offers two one-time, non-consumable purchases through Apple's App Store or Google Play: Remove Ads removes interstitial ads only; optional rewarded ads remain. The Starter Pack provides 1,500 coins and unlocks Mags once. Restoring that purchase restores the character entitlement and does not grant the coins again. Purchases can be restored using the same store account.
The app processes product identifiers, purchase status and transaction information to recognize, restore and finish purchases, and stores entitlements locally. The stores handle payment details; we do not receive your card or banking information or send receipts to a developer-operated purchase server. Purchase events may be recorded by Firebase as described above. Remove Ads does not disable Firebase Analytics or the advertising SDK; ads may still be preloaded.
The game can schedule optional local reminders for daily challenges and streaks. Notification permission is requested after you unlock additional game modes. Reminders use your device's clock, time zone and local progress and are scheduled on the device; they are not remote push notifications. You can turn reminders off in Settings > Notifications in the game or disable Witchcoil notifications in your device settings.
The game uses network access for consent, ads, analytics, purchases and leaderboards, and optional vibration for haptic feedback. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photos or precise location access. Approximate location may be inferred by service providers from the IP address used for network requests.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you send and use it to respond. Avoid sending sensitive information. We retain correspondence as needed to handle the request and any related legal obligations. Visiting this page also sends ordinary connection information to the website's hosting provider, which may process connection and security logs.
Local data remains on your device until removed. Store, advertising, analytics and leaderboard providers retain data according to their policies and settings. Service providers may process information outside your country. We do not set a single retention period covering all of those independent services.
Your rights depend on where you live and may include access, correction, deletion, objection or withdrawal of consent. Contact mike007jd@gmail.com about information held by Bubu Studio. For provider-held information, use the privacy choices and links above, your store account controls, or contact the relevant provider. Deleting local data or changing consent does not automatically delete information previously processed by those providers.
Witchcoil is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Bubu Studio, contact us so we can address it. Platform account restrictions and device parental controls may limit purchases, advertising or leaderboard features.
Changes will be posted with a revised date. The current policy is available at https://bubucn.com/applegal/witchcoil/privacy.
